So... what sets me apart as a designer?

My current title is Graphic Designer, Web Master, Web Designer, Front-end Developer, Designer/Front-end Developer, Designer that codes, UI Designer, UX Designer, Interaction Designer, UI/UX Designer, Product Designer.

All those title changes should give you a glimpse of my journey through this ever-evolving industry.

I now focus my efforts on designing a seamless user experience rather than coding one. A designer who codes? Yes we do exist 🦄. Knowing how design translates into code, along with its constraints and possibilities, has proven invaluable when collaborating closely with engineers. That knowledge is something I always bring to my fellow designers, often in the form of my coding playground.

Regardless of the title, my guiding principle is simple: put the user first. That means reducing unnecessary friction and helping users move through experiences with confidence. I champion inclusive design, following best practices and WCAG guidelines to ensure experiences are accessible to all.

In every company I’ve contracted with, I’ve naturally stepped into lead-level responsibilities. I’ve crafted end-to-end customer journeys, shaped design systems and workflows, mentored fellow designers, and helped elevate the overall standard of design. That approach has often led to contract renewals and frequent offers to go permanent.

If you’d like to chat further or have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.
